Reconstruction 3
I renewed the Galleries completely and made 2 big ones instead of 5 smaller ones. They're all new or redone (partially or completely) and I added a bunch of cartoons too, to get a little humor in the site again :DI will post more of course but I will add to the 2 main galleries instead of having a special New Work gallery. I kept forgetting to move the new work to the regular galleries when they weren't new anymore.
I will however add an Old Stuff gallery to post the things that I still like from yesteryear.

Reconstruction 2
I had to do it slightly different than I anticipated because it was too complicated to change images at random and not get cofused.So, I bunched all the images in three Pinup galleries (4 if you count the New work gallery) and reposted it like that.
New stuff, old stuff are still somewhat mixed, but when I have all galleries complete I'll redo it once more.

Reconstruction
When you're not only painting to make a living but for fun as well you sometimes get a 'EUREKA' moment when everything you tried to learn falls into place.I had that before but once again, a couple of weeks ago. The latest images I have created are just a bit stronger than they used to be.
That makes it time to reconstruct the site again. And it will take a while before I'm done with it, this time. I have just added the latest pictures to the New Work Gallery
but I'll also go over the older ones once more to try and improve them and get the original idea over better. I did a couple already and they're now in the New Work Gallery as well.
Didn't even take long. Some times only half an hour. Sometimes longer. Sometimes it was just a little revamping the face or a foot, sometimes I redid the entire lighting.
But the difference is huge. At least that's what I think.
More will follow gradually and they will be posted in the PinUp Galleries. To not have Visitors find a half empty site, the old pictures will remain in the galleries until they get replaced by newer versions.
For the collectors this might be a good moment to go over the galleries and pick up the pieces they like. They might not be here soon.

Posted more images in the New Work 1 Gallery (aside from the Pin-Up of the Month for May). Long overdue, I know, but hey...busy, busy.

Changed a couple of important images on the site! (like the one above and in the Header)
Well, that's a funny coincidence. I posted about the Creating Curves Book exactly 1 year ago today.
I didn't sell a lot of books yet, but many thanks to those that actually bought a copy.
I replaced some images on the site earlier, and will replace more whenever I can, but didn't mention it on this page.
Eventually you'll see them anyway, I gathered. I hope you'll like them.
I will not install the shop after all, although I have it ready and working.
The responsibility to get the artwork in good condition on the destination and the extra work it probably will cause is more than I can incorporate in my busy schedule right now.
As soon as I find more time or a responsible representative that can take things off my hands, I'll reconsider.
You can however commission me via Paypal now for new artworks.
That is a giant step up in user-friendly payment methods.

Tutorial Book is finished!
Just ordered the first copy to see if all's okay. If it is, I'll post a link on this site for you to order your own copy.
In 80 pages I try to explain, as in depth as possible, how I create 5 different brand new and previously unpublished pinups.
It's in English and will be available in softcover only to keep it affordable.

I've added 7 new Pinups to the New Work 2 gallery. If you're one of my Myspace friends you may have seen them already but in a moderated version.
I like them better this way.

No more XXX galleries!
I have removed the XXX galleries already. Plenty of erotic stuff left though, so you don't have to get bored here.
If you'd like to commission me for some xxx-rated images that'll be still possible of course. But as I found my stuff in places I don't want it to be, I had to take drastic measures.
Still working on the shop. Not sure when it'll be up. I've been too busy to dive into it regularly. It's practically done but there's still details I need to address to make sure it'll run smoothly.

Books!
I am eagerly awaiting the first copy of my first coffee table book. It'll feature about 40 pinups.
First copy is for evaluation only of course. I want to see if it looks as good as they say it will:).
The book is called Undress 1. It'll be a serious Hardcover with Dust jacket.
My web shop is almost ready to go and I would like something special to put there. Otherwise a shop wouldn't make much sense.
If the book is good, you will see it in my shop. If it isn't, I'll have to find a better solution first.
If people actually are going to buy the book, I'll put together more books like it.
I also have a couple of other concepts for possible books waiting though.
For a different purpose I'm working on a tutorial book as I write this. A tutorial in pdf format, posted on the web needs to be of a certain size to be still acceptable, downloadable and readable.
In a printed book I can just write what I need to and add the needed pictures in a size I like, without worrying about Megabytes.
So, there's lots of interesting stuff brewing here. Yeeehaaaa!

Sizzle#44!
Kristina was so kind to send me Sizzle #44 (thank you very much!) and it turned out wonderfully, if I may say so myself.
Not only are the first 11 pages of Kristina's Chapter 3 represented in it, in greyscale, the cover is a glossy Kristina portrait, beautifully printed!, at that.
If you can, pick up a copy, although I understand that they're hard to come by already. Otherwise keep on the look out for the next
issues in which the rest of Chapter 3 will be pre-published. If you can't, don't worry too much, for the book will surely follow.

Various News!
I will install a webshop on this site beginning of 2010. I'm working on the technical details right now. Never bothered before because I was worried about safety. But I found a good way that utilizes the Paypal infrastructure.
It will become possible to obtain originals, posters and other collectables and maybe a book or two with assembled work. It will also be much easier, faster and safer to commission me if you would like.
When I have added this, i will remove the XXX galleries. Not because I would not like that kind of work anymore but because i find it on too many shady paid websites. That's not what I intended it for.
That's why I didn't add much since this new site is up.
I might add the option to purchase it separately but it won't be available to everyone anymore.

Pictures Added !
Came across a limitation of the site! A gallery can only contain about 25 images. So, I had to add another New Work gallery because I reached that limit. In time the New Work 2 Gallery will be renamed PinUp Gallery 6. And so the site will grow and grow. Do you enjoy it?

Tutorial Added !
It was about time that the tutorial I had posted (on the old version of this site) was replaced as well. And that happened yesterday.

Lay-Out changes !
Yes, I tweaked it again to make it even more user friendly. All galleries are found under one button to make the menu-bar shorter. Projects are under another button because there will be more in future and would lengthen the menu-bar as well. I changed a couple of header pictures too.
Dutch version will follow as quickly as possible. It's starting to look how I intended it. Let me know if you like it too. Thank you!

New Work Gallery !
Because it was so difficult to update my last site, I have a bundle of pictures that haven't been posted here before. My Myspace friends have seen some of them but in a moderated version because of Myspace's no-nudity policy. I decided to post them all at once in a special Gallery (the NEW WORK gallery) to make it easier to find them. In time I'll move them to the other galleries but for now this extra gallery is a good place to see what I've been up to lately.

New Website Update !
While I was at it anyway, I actually added the DUTCH version of this site already.
Wasn't as much work as I thought and was afraid of. It's much more difficult to do a site from Dutch to English. As I found out when I posted my Duckling site that is more of a hobby and supposed to help people that find an orphaned duckling, like we did in 2007 (For those interested, that site is on the Links page)

New Website Update !
I'm tweaking the site until it looks how I'd like it to look. Nothing major. Just small images and illustrations will change in time.
Already the way I can update or change things is agreeing with me a lot.
So much that I will probably add a dutch version soon. Which should be convenient for my fellow dutchmen visiting here.
As it is so easy you will probably see things happening here on a regular basis.

Appearance on Regional TV
Been on TV on a regional show, where I painted a hunting dog stumbling upon the logo of the TV station.
It was fun. Of course such events never go like you would want to.
I was on for about 6 or 7 times for only a couple of minutes each and the first time they stopped by me, I was practically done with painting the dog. While it was my intention to show the viewers how it came to be. Nevertheless it was a great experience. I should have some media training before I would do this again. But still. It wasn't that aweful.
